Codemasters International, LLC Announces Release of Windows Azure Conversion Wizard
MIAMI--(iNewsWire, March 11, 2011) – Codemasters International, LLC, the Boca Raton, FL based, global provider of custom software development services, today announced the release of Azure Conversion Wizard, a Plug-in for VS 2010.
"We are very happy to announce that our first product, the Azure Conversion Wizard, is a contribution to the programming community," said Alex Koval, Founder and President. The product comes as a plug-in for MS Visual Studio 2010, provided free of charge, converts ASP.NET solutions for .NET 3.5 and higher to Windows Azure Platform. The following changes are made during the conversion process:
- A Cloud project is added if there is none.
- All ASP.NET Web Application projects are converted to Web Role projects.
- All WCF/ASP.NET Web Service projects are converted to Web Role projects.
- All WCF/Windows Service projects are converted to Worker Role projects.
Mr. Koval added that, “In scenarios which include usage of database, file system and third-party components, additional work may be required by to migrate ASP.NET app to Azure.”
This new product is free, provided on an “as-is” basis.
